Atlanta Motorized Screens is an authorized MagnaTrack™ dealer installing motorized retractable porch screens and patio screens across Marietta, from the historic homes around Marietta Square, Church Street, Kennesaw Avenue, and Whitlock Avenue to the neighborhoods off Burnt Hickory, Dallas Highway, Polk Street, and Powder Springs Road, and out to Kennesaw Mountain and West Cobb. Marietta is a front porch town that grew into a back porch town, and the porches in both halves sit under one of the thickest tree canopies in the county. The problem is how few evenings a year they actually get used:
A motorized retractable screen fixes all five, and when the evening is perfect, it disappears into its housing at the touch of a button. Every project starts with a free in-home consultation and is quoted line by line.
Which Marietta porches do they work on? All of them. Here is what each one calls for.
The Greek Revivals, Queen Annes, Craftsman bungalows, and Tudors in the Church-Cherokee, Kennesaw Avenue, Whitlock Avenue, Forest Hills, and Northwest Marietta historic districts were built around the porch, and most still have the original columns and trim. Screening one is a retrofit job, and it has to respect the house and the district.

The neighborhoods off Burnt Hickory Road, Dallas Highway, Macland Road, Villa Rica Road, and Stilesboro, including Windsor Oaks, Somerset, Northampton, North Landing, Hamilton Township, Kings Bridge, Chestnut Hill, Bentwater, Brookstone, and Marietta Country Club, pair big wooded lots with a swim and tennis club and a covered back porch facing the woods or the fairway.

The townhomes, condos, and new builds around Marietta Square, Roswell Street, Atlanta Street, the Mountain to River Trail, Marietta Station, and the blocks between the Square and Kennestone put you a walk from the Strand and twelve feet from a neighbor. Patios, balconies, and rooftop terraces here are smaller, closer, and often face west into the evening sun.

Any covered opening up to 30 feet wide and 20 feet tall, on the house or off it.
The classic Marietta porch, screened for pollen and mosquitoes and open again the moment the weather turns nice.
Solar mesh over the grill and dining area for glare control and shade, without walling off the yard.
Privacy mesh on the lot-line side, insect mesh toward the water. The pool house becomes a second living room.
Motorized pergola screens turn an open frame into a usable room. Tracks mount to the posts; the housing tucks under the beam.
Door up, screen down. Airflow without an audience.
Marietta Square, Roswell Street, and the Avenue West Cobb patios that stay open through mosquito season and the first cold snap.
Under the Marietta canopy, screens down through March and April keep most of the yellow film off the furniture. Hose the mesh, not the cushions.
Insect mesh for the bugs, solar mesh for the sun. Either way, dinner on the porch in August without the spray and without the glare.
Press a button and the screens retract completely. Nothing between you and October, or the Square on a Saturday night.
Clear vinyl seals the space and holds the heat from a patio heater or fireplace. The porch stays in service through January.

Serving every Marietta and West Cobb neighborhood, including Marietta Square, Church Street, Cherokee Street, Kennesaw Avenue, Whitlock Avenue, Forest Hills, Northwest Marietta, Polk Street, Burnt Hickory, Dallas Highway, Macland, Stilesboro, Windsor Oaks, Somerset, Northampton, North Landing, Hamilton Township, Kings Bridge, Chestnut Hill, Bentwater, Brookstone, Marietta Country Club, Kennesaw Mountain, Mount Paran, Powder Springs Road, Roswell Street, Marietta Station, the Mountain to River Trail, and the Avenue West Cobb.
Yes. MagnaTrack's magnetic track is designed to flex under a gust and pull itself back into place instead of tearing out, which is the usual failure on zipper-track screens. The manufacturer recommends raising standard screens above 60 mph; the Defender series is rated for 24/7 deployment in Category 5 winds. Solar mesh blocks up to 85% of wind and rain when extended. More on the MagnaTrack system page.
We can't speak for any individual association, but the system is built for architectural review: housings and tracks are powder-coated in any RAL color to match your trim, the profile is slim, and the screens disappear completely when retracted. Homes in one of Marietta's locally designated historic districts go through the city's Historic Preservation Commission for changes visible from the street; rear and side porches often fall outside that review, but check first. We provide product drawings and color specs you can submit with your application.
Both. Most of Marietta's housing stock is established, and face-mount tracks retrofit onto nearly any existing covered porch, patio, or pergola. On older homes we face-mount to the existing columns and beam so original trim stays untouched. On a new build or a major renovation, the housing and tracks can be recessed into the ceiling and columns so nothing is visible when the screens are up. Worth raising with your builder early.
Every project is custom fabricated to your openings, so pricing depends on the number of openings, their size, the mesh you choose, and the controls. We measure in person, walk through the options with samples, and leave an itemized quote that includes materials and installation. The consultation is free, with no deposit and no obligation.
About six weeks from order to shipment, since each screen is built to your exact measurements. Most projects install in a single day once the screens arrive. We give you a real date when we quote.
