Atlanta Motorized Screens

Your porch, every day of the year.

Atlanta Motorized Screens is an authorized MagnaTrack™ dealer and installer serving Atlanta and the metro area, all the way to Lake Oconee. We enclose patios, porches, pergolas, and garages with motorized retractable screens. What changes is simple:

  • No mosquitoes through Georgia's long warm season
  • No yellow pollen film on the furniture every spring
  • No harsh sun or 6pm glare on a west-facing patio
  • No wind and rain: mesh holds back up to 85%, clear vinyl seals it completely
  • Privacy at the touch of a button: no neighbors watching you eat dinner
  • Temperature control, four seasons: warmth held in through January, heat cut in July

When the weather is perfect, press a button and it all disappears. Every project is measured in person and quoted line by line.

The work done on our screened-in sunroom was amazing! One was installed at the lake and now we no longer have to deal with bugs at breakfast, lunch, and especially at dinner! The screens keep everything cool, by letting the air through and providing shade.

An investment that earns its keep.

  • Lower power bills: mesh cuts the heat load in summer, clear vinyl holds conditioned air in winter
  • Money you don't spend later: 98% fewer service calls, and a working life independent reviewers put at 15 to 25 years
  • Interiors protected: solar mesh stops the UV that fades furniture and rugs
  • Real home value: listed as a home improvement, with manufacturer-cited average ROI around 84%

A luxury that behaves like an investment.

Engineered difference.

98% fewer service calls. By design.

The manufacturer reports 98% fewer service calls than conventional screen systems. The reason is mechanical:

  • Conventional screens fail at the track: zippers pull out and cables give under gusts; the screen jams, wrinkles, or re-wraps crooked. The number-one service call in this industry.
  • MagnaTrack is the world's only self-correcting screen: magnets in a patented free-floating track (U.S. Patent 11,421,474) with 10× the pulling force of any other system
  • It fixes itself: under pressure the screen releases, flexes, and pulls back into place automatically
  • Even a blowout is a button-press fix: raise the screen above the problem area and it re-seats on the way down. No ladder, no service visit.

Watch it take a beating in the video below.

What the screens buy you.

Bugs, blocked

Heavy-duty insect mesh between mosquito season and the dinner table. Evenings on the porch, no spray, no candles.

Sun and glare, cut

Solar mesh blocks up to 97% of UV. A west-facing porch is comfortable at 6pm in July, and you can actually see the TV.

Pollen, kept off the furniture

When the yellow film arrives every spring, screens keep most of it off the cushions, the table, and the floor.

Wind and rain, held back

Mesh blocks up to 85% of wind and rain; clear vinyl seals the space completely. Defender is rated for 24/7 storm deployment.

Privacy at the touch of a button

Daytime privacy from the street and the neighbors, without curtains, lattice, or walls.

Temperature control, four seasons

Clear vinyl holds conditioned air: heated in January, shaded in August, and the rooms behind the porch run cooler too.

Interiors that keep their color

Stop UV at the porch and the hardwoods, rugs, and art behind it stop fading.

Built in, not bolted on

Custom fabricated to your openings up to 30 feet wide, in any RAL color, fully recessed on new construction.

And yes: movie nights

A deployed solar screen doubles as an outdoor projection surface. Porch, projector, popcorn.

Proven, Not Promised

We throw things at it. On camera.

The manufacturer’s favorite demo: hurl objects at a deployed screen and watch the magnetic track release, flex, and pull itself back into place. No zipper system survives this. Press play, sound on.

Common Questions

How long does installation take, and what's the lead time?

Typical turnaround is about 6 weeks from order placement to shipment, and most projects install in a single day once the screens arrive. We give you a real date when we quote.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. We come out, measure every opening, walk through mesh and control options, and leave you an itemized quote. No deposit, no obligation. And the price you're quoted includes materials plus installation: no surprise line items later.

How do the screens hold up in wind and rain?

The magnetic track flexes under gusts and reseats itself instead of tearing out. The manufacturer recommends raising standard screens above 60 mph, while the Defender series is rated for 24/7 deployment and Category 5 impacts. Solar mesh blocks up to 85% of wind and rain when extended, and the tighter the mesh weave you choose, the more it keeps out; clear vinyl seals the space completely. More on the MagnaTrack system page.

Can screens go on an existing porch, or only new construction?

Both. Face-mount tracks retrofit cleanly onto nearly any existing covered porch, patio, or pergola. On new construction we can recess the housing and tracks into the ceiling and columns so the whole system disappears when retracted, worth specifying early with your builder.

What about the warranty?

The manufacturer's written limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship: 15 years on aluminum components, 10 years on standard screen materials, 5 years on motors, 2 years on other electrical components, and 1 year on vinyl welding/stitching, for the original purchaser. Read the full warranty (PDF). As your local authorized dealer, we handle warranty work directly. You call us, not a factory line.

Can I use a heater or fireplace with the screens down?

Yes, as long as there's no direct contact with the screens, and leave a small gap for ventilation. Clear vinyl plus a patio heater is exactly how a porch stays in service through January.

Can the screens be curved to fit an arch?

No, the screens themselves can't be curved. But if your porch has archways, that doesn't rule you out: we regularly work out mounting approaches that screen arched openings cleanly. Bring it up at the measure and we'll walk the options at your house.

Any maintenance?

Minimal. The self-correcting track exists precisely to eliminate service calls. The manufacturer recommends running the screens once or twice a week to keep everything moving freely.
